Dislpay a reference chromatogram in Print Reports
It would be useful to set a reference chromatogram (for example how the subtraction one is selected) in Clarity, so it can be then displayed during Acquisition, in Chromatogram window or in Print Reports.

I believe the features you're describing are accessed by selecting "Set Background Chromatogram" under the "File" menu in the acquisition window, and turning on "Overlay Mode" under the "File" menu in the chromatogram window. In the first case, a previous chromatogram will be displayed during acquistion. In the second case, you can overlay multiple chromatograms in the same window, up to 25 I believe, but I'm not quite sure on the limit. As far as printing goes, in the "File" menu on the chromatogram window, there is an option called "Report Setup". This will bring up a screen with multiple tabs. In the "Chromatogram" tab there is an option to print either just the active signal, or all signals. You can also choose various other options for how your report gets printed. I've found that once you have a report style that you like, its a good idea to save a copy that report file somewhere besides the normal location, so that if you ever set up another instrument, or reinstall, you don't have to go through the process of making it "perfect" again. These functions are pretty easy to use, but I may have misunderstood your question.

Re: Dislpay a reference chromatogram in Print Reports
We use GC in our QC lab to test the assay of our Aroma Chemical products and ensure that the purity meets with the products specification. However there is a new emerging customer requirement regarding the GC analysis carried out, which is to ensure that the chromatographic impurity profile is also consistent on a batch by batch basis for all of the products we make.
Our plan is to review the recent batch history of our most popular products, and for each of them, decide what represents a typical profile, then save the chosen representative chromatogram as the “profile reference chromatogram” in the method for each case.
We were then hoping that we could use the background subtraction application in the Clarity Method (see below) to build the ref chromatogram into the method so that it would display as a greyed out background chromatogram both as the run is being acquired (which it does) as well as in the final printed chromatogram in the report (which it doesn’t – it is impossible to prevent a subtraction of some kind happening once the run is completed).
Is there any similar interests out there amongst Clarity Users, so that this functionality could be added in a later revision of the software?
In the first instance all we require is visual comparison of the reference chromatogram and chromatogram representing the analysis which can be saved in the report.
Later it might be beneficial to be able to do mathematical operation, such as flag all differences which exceed a user set amount (e.g. >0.5% GC area) in the report.
