In the future, Clarity might include multiple internal calibration standards (ISTD). Each compound would have set in the calibration file by which ISTD compound response it is corrected.
This might be particularly useful when the analysis includes several groups of compounds with slightly different properties - a single ISTD compound that matches the properties of the particular group may be present for each of these groups.

Could you please provide an update on the proposal to include multiple ISTD?
Thanks and regards

Re: Multiple ISTD compounds
Dear David,
I just checked it and it seems that the issue was postponed to some later version because of the complexity needed while introducing the functionality to the current program design. However, some new features in the settings of the User Columns in the Result table might help in solving the matter - I will look into it this week and let you know of a possible solution, if there is any.
Best Regards,
Daniel

Re: Multiple ISTD compounds
Hello all,
I have managed to set the user columns so that it can support more than one ISTD. The complexity of settings sharply increases with the increasing number of internal standards used, but setting the Result table to support two ISTDs is quite simple and three ISTDs is still manageable. I will prepare some whitelist on how to set the User Columns for two ISTD's, based on the results of the voting here.
Note that the settings do use certain presumptions such as that the compounds being evaluated according to different ISTDs does not mix themselves (that means that retention time intervals covering one group of compounds does not overlap with the retention time interval of the second group evaluated according to the different ISTD) and are complicated by the desired output (I want all the correct values shown in one column with results).
Best Regards,
Daniel

Re: Multiple ISTD compounds
The workaround is described in detail in the Multiple ISTD FAQ Document and linked whitepaper.

Re: IMPLEMENTED: Multiple ISTD compounds
Multiple ISTD is implemented from Clarity 6.0. It is possible to use up to 5 ISTDs.
Update your Clarity installation to latest version or try it in Clarity DEMO.
