Clarity and Shimadzu GC-17A
Clarity and Shimadzu GC-17A
We have a Shimadzu GC17 connected with the Clarity 3.0.5 . When we run a sequence the chromatograph does not stop the run and to go into the following sample it is necessary to stop it manually. We have verified the programs of temperature, of pressure and time and they all finalize these at the same time but in the screen of the GC still the led to be on that he is analyzing. And time also continues at a run on the GC. Please somebody know how to solve this problem that apparently is in the GC but we do not know how to solve it.

Re: Clarity and Shimadzu GC-17A
Dear Leopoldo,
we have encountered a similar problem on another GC-17. It seems that the GC itself has some inner settings that are not modifiable from Clarity, which prevent the GC to end the program, however we were not able to locate which ones they are due to the mentioned GC being on the other half of the world and the customer not replying frequently enough.
I will contact you via e-mail and propose a solution for your case, if you are willing, we may do some tests and possibly find a solution to the problem which may help other users too.
Best Regards,
Daniel
