Before analysis, when checking if the baseline is stable, we only see a flat line and the message "OVER" on the bottom for all 4 of the signals.
When running a sample, the baseline gives a normal image (fluctuations, noise, peaks) (image included). After analysis, the acquisition window again shows "OVER". AUTOZERO on the detector does not change.

Re: Baseline "OVER" during equilibrating
Dear Kirsten,
to understand the reason of the problem, we need to know more details - the situation looks really weird.
The best way would be a TeamViewer session if the PC is connected to the Internet - please send us the email to support@dataapex.com and we will schedule a session. If the PC is not connected to the Internet, we will suggest further diagnostics over email.
Best Regards,
Daniel

Re: Baseline "OVER" during equilibrating
Hi Daniel,
The PC is not connected to the internet. I will inform the VWR Technician, because she will have to solve this. I would have been of help if it was just a simple software setting, but if it is more complicated it's best VWR takes this in their own hands.

Re: Baseline "OVER" during equilibrating
Dear Kirsten,
in fact you observe a normal behavior for the Chromaster DAD - note the detector is not giving any signal data outside run, the control module is just providing simulated out of range signal for the DataAcqusition window (needed to synchronize in case there will some other signals).
To evaluate the baseline before run you need to use the Check Signal button in Device Monitor - it will invoke a run in the detector, but not start run in Clarity. It need to be switched off before starting the run.
