Dear Antonio,
yes, Clarity supports calculation of Retention indexes (Kovats indexes), Column efficiency and Resolution. The Selectivity (alpha) can be calculated using the user columns in Performance table. As those functions are not frequently used, they are somewhat hidden in the default settings.
For calculation of Kovats indexes you need to set the carbon numbers (x 100) in calibration file Reten. Index column for the corresponding peaks. The column need to be revealed using the setup columns. The resulting retention indexes will be then displayed in the Result table, Reten.Index column, again hidden by default. If you are using some older desktop file (from older versions), a restore default columns command may be needed.
The column efficiency and resolution are displayed in the performance table - the corresponding tab is hidden in default setup, you can access it from the Results menu in Chromatogram window.
For the selectivity (Alfa) you can use the following formula for a User column in Performance table:
Alpha: Capacity/Capacity(previous)
