Hello experts,
I've got a question:
Is it possible in Clarity to import the baseline of a blank chromatogram into the current sample chromatogram?
Or is it otherwise possible to edit the baseline manually in that way, that it takes course lower than the valleys of the chromatogram? The "Forward Horizontal"-Tool isn't sufficient unfortunately...
Many thanks in advance!
Matthias

Re: Baseline Import
Dear Matthias,
are you trying to perform a background subtraction? If so, Clarity has tools for that, please see the procedure below.
In case you are trying to do something else, please describe in as much details what you are trying to achieve, I may not understand fully what the request is. In case you need to demonstrate that on pictures, please send us the screenshots (and original chromatogram!) to support@dataapex.com .

Performing Background Subtraction:
- Open the sample chromatogram and have the background chromatogram ready (already mesured).
- Switch to the Measurement Conditions tab of the sample chromatogram (Instrument sub-tab).
- In the Subtraction section, use the Set... button to select your blank chromatogram, and press OK. The blank chromatogram will be subtracted from the sample chromatogram according to the rules set in the combobox in the Subtraction section. Description of the options is available in the help file.
