IMPLEMENTED - Automatically check for updates

Upon launching Clarity, automatically check for updates. Give user a choice to download any available updates. During installation, allow user to choose whether to enable automatic update checking.

Dear Debra,
the similar effect can be achieved by subscribing to Clarity News section of this forum, without the need to have the computer with Clarity connected to the Internet and without the slowing of the station start by connecting to our site. On the other hand, as a lot of other software does have this feature, I have added a suggestion to our internal bug-tracking database and we will look on the possibilities. Until that time, feel free to vote for your preferred option!

From Clarity 6.2 the automatic check for updates is available. You can enable or disable this function in the Check for updates dialog available from Clarity main window - Help menu.
