Set Zero

Hello, how can I apply a Set Zero Command automatically when a new run begins from a sequence?

Hello,
simple answer is you can't.
More complex answer would be:
The Set Zero command serves only to set the current signal value as negative offset to the signal value, which means it performs "autozero" using software means. This may have an effect when detector signal range is limited - for example on range 0-1 V, when using the function of Set Zero while signal is 0.1V, you would be only left with 0.9V of positive range interval (signal would be cut off at 0.9 V). It is much better to perform hardware Autozero.
However, some Instruments do not allow to set Autozero on the signal as such function is not available in the communication protocol. It depends on the instrument in question, action to perform autozero would be present in the Method Setup dialog (could be set as action to be performed with start of analysis) or in Device Monitor (can only be triggered manually this way). In some very rare cases the function might be available through Event Table as an output type. All depends on what instrument you are speaking about.
