Hardware Change

I am upgrading an isocratic pump on my Agilent 1100 to a Quaternary Pump.
Will the software automatically detect this hardware change and allow use of all pumps?

Dear Mr.Anderson,
no it is not done automatically. You need to open System Configuration dialog and invoke Agilent 1100 Setup. Switch to Common tab and click Add. Select Quaternary Pump and set serial number. Than click Autodetect (if accessible).
Close Setup dialog and add quaternary pump to the instrument.
