My Agilent 1100 was working fine last Friday, AND RAN At standby flow over the weekend with the bulb switched off.

Now I am unable to turn on the deuterium bulb, all other modules are showing as ready.

Clarity initiates the ignition procedure but then reverts back to not ready (deuterium lamp).

The system and Clairty software have been power cycled several times and the UV bulb shows no sign of damage.

Can you offer any advice regarding the UV failure...

We will need some more information about the system (Clarity serial number and version used, detector model and firmware version). Which control module you are using (there are two available - old Agilent 1100 and a new Agilent ICF)? What type of communication you are using - GP-IB or LAN?

From your description I will suspect a lamp failure. For further steps, the above informations will be needed - you could contact us at support@dataapex.com
