Disappearing labels in Clarity 6.1.0

We have just updated from v.4.0.04 to v.6.1.00. with SST. When chromatograms produced before the upgrade are opened, they show their labels. When we try to move to the next chromatogram, the File Manager dialog box opens to ask if we want to save a change (despite nothing having been changed). Whether we save or not, all the labels have disappeared when we return to it.

We have tried opening chromatograms as both Administrator and as the user who generated the chromatogram and the issue still persists.

Anyone have any ideas on what's going on and whether the labels are permanently deleted?

Dear David,
what have changed between version 4.0.04 and 6.1.00 was the introduction of the higher data precision - any data are saved into different type of variable. This meant that the algorithms for evaluating the data had to be rewritten too. An older chromatogram opened in the new version now recalculates the data to the new (more precise) format so that Clarity can apply integrations etc, however this should only happen after some other change has been performed in the chromatogram by the user.

Can you please send us an example chromatogram that has labels but have not been saved (changed) in 6.1 yet and one that have been changed and saved and the labels are missing? I will try to reproduce the behavior here and provide some solution. Please send the chromatograms to support@dataapex.com .
