Dear Sir pls help me..
I have some problems when instllation clarity with mater Gc Dani.
not connecction between the PC and Gc Master.
not establishment.
not appear the GC master dani in the library.

from the data you have listed, I'm not able to assess the reason of the problems. We would need the diagnostic files from your Clarity station sent to support@dataapex.com for the inspection. The diagnostic files are:

c:\clarity\clarity.cfg
c:\clarity\clarity.dsk
c:\clarity\systeminfo.txt
c:\clarity\badtrace.txt and all *.dmp files (may not be present, they are created during some problems only)
c:\clarity\log\ *.audit for the days the problem appeared

Other than that, I can only suggest some general advice for the Dani Master GC chromatograph connection, as the driver was developed by DANI company and not us:

• versions of Clarity older than 3.0.4.444 did not have DANI Master GC driver in "typical" installation; in such case, you would not see Dani Master GC in the System Configuration - Available Control Modules dialog to add. To repair that, your Clarity station would have to be uninstalled and then installed anew, this time with either "full" installation option ot "Custom" installation option with the Master GC (in the GC section) checked.
• you need a release code for the Master GC to communicate, ask DANI for it.
• you need the correct firmware version and matching Master GC Clarity module version (module version can be found from main Clarity window by using Help - About - System Files, item cswdanispamastergc.dll):
  • firmware version 20070919 R6 needs control module version 1.2.0.179 and is compatible with Clarity up to v. 2.6...
  • firmware version 20070919 R9 needs control module version 1.2.0.182 and is compatible with Clarity up to v. 2.6...
  • firmware version 20070919 S3 needs control module version 1.2.0.184 and is compatible with Clarity v. 2.8...or 3.0.2.244 (typical installation then install the driver)
  • firmware version 20100510R needs control module version 1.4.0.18 and is compatible with Clarity v. 3.0.2.244 (full installation)
  • firmware version 20100530R needs control module version 1.4.0.18 and is compatible with Clarity v. 3.0.2.244 (full installation)
  • firmware version 20100530R needs control module version 1.4.0.26 and is compatible with Clarity v. 3.0.4.444 (typical installation) and laters
  Please note that the drivers are not backward compatible, so you might need to either upgrade Clarity and drivers or downgrade the firmware of the GC. With information on messing with GC firmware, please contact DANI company.
