Using Clarity with Perkin-Elmer Clarus 580 GC

Hello all,
We have a Clarity license which to date we've used with a HP5890 via a U-PAD2 A/D converter. The HP5890 has reached the end of its life, meaning we can look to use Clarity for a different instrument. We have a Perkin-Elmer Clarus 580 system which is currently running 'TotalChrom'. We're wondering if it would be possible to use Clarity with this system, as we find it more user-friendly than TotalChrom. However, I can't find any mention of Perkin-Elmer systems and Clarity.
Is it possible to use Clarity with Perkin-Elmer systems? I'm not sure if this would be done using the basic A/D approach (which would I assume need some way of getting a raw signal out of the Clarus 580), or whether the existing serial input to the control PC would work. We're not too worried about controlling the GC from the PC: the instrument screen seems to do this just fine. It's more the data acquisition/recording that we'd ideally like to move to Clarity.
Thanks for any advice,
Joseph Wright
