Dear all,

We are dealing for a Clarity station to get data from 2 GCs separated by a
50 meters distance. If I remember well Clarity is prepared to connect
through a 30 cable. Is there any alternative or option to have these 2
instruments connected to the same PC.

Dear Daniel,

there are basically two possibilities

a) we can provide 50 meters long cable
Then it depends on several factors:
- the quality (strength) of the signal from the detector
- how big peaks you would like to measure (the bigger the better)
- the amount of interference from the environment
(generally you can a give it a try and it may work OK)

b) you can use the NetPAD
it is an external A/D converter connected to the PC over LAN (TCP/IP),
the distance of the chromatograph from the PC does not matter at all then
