been created with Shimadzu Class Chromatography software in Clarity or

Dear John,
to display and manipulate chromatogram data files from other manufacturers programs you usually must export them in some common format first (the native chromatogram data format is usually binary and protected from modifications to prevent forgery). The AIA (*.cdf) file format is the preffered one for such data sharing between programs. In the VP Class Method, Advanced Method Options select the Export Enabled, Chromatogram, Export these parameters: AIA, and set path for exported files. For each chromatogram processed with this method, AIA format *.cdf file will be created.
In Clarity, using File, Import Chromatogram, you can import and evaluate such files easily.
