Connecting Clarity with HT800L Autosampler

Hello,

I am currently trying to control the HT800L autosampler with Clarity, and am having trouble with the setting in System Configuration. On the System Configuration window, I am trying to set the "Ext. Start Dig. Input" Device to HT800L autosampler. However, the pull down manu does not have the autosampler listed even after I have added the instrument to the right window.

Can anyone please help me figure out why this is?

Dear Isha,
the HT800L autosampler control module was developed outside of DataApex by the HTA company itself. Their programmers didn't include the possibility of the simulated start signal being sent over the COM, thus the item is missing in the System configuration.

Now the problem can be solved for you, but the start synchronization has to be done by wire. May I know what other instruments/detectors/hardware you have connected, to be able to suggest a solution?
