Bar Code Reader and Clarity

Hello there,

has anyone in the Clarity World out there experience with connecting bar code reader to clarity and if yes and if this connection works to fill in eg. fields in the sequence table, what kind of bar code reader do you use, which driver, etc.? Anything will help.

Dear Michael,
Clarity, as of now, does not have any particular support for BAR CODE READERs. The possible way how to do it (as a workaround) would be calling Clarity via the command line with a command line parameter of set_sample_name from some external utility, where the sample name would incorporate the bar code. This can only work in a single run operation, not in the sequence.
