YL9150 autosampler (ALIAS) MIX program problem

Dear all,

I tried to setup mix program for YL9150 autosapler for few sample dilution for preparing satndards. When I place reagent A or Reagent B to destination vila system tells me error message" Canot set destination vial to -1". Can you help me solve this issue?

Dear Jaroslaw,
the old module for Alias (YL9150) was programmed by Knauer and I do not have much experience with it. On the other hand, we are just finishing the testing of a new driver for Alias that we programmed ourselves, so I may have a chance to solve the problem for you nevertheless due to the extensive testing performed on the sampler.

Please, send us the diagnostic files for your station to the support@dataapex.com - these are:
- clarity.cfg
- all *.dsk files
- systeminfo.txt
- badtrace.txt
- *.audit file from the day the problem emerged (found in the LOG subdirectory)
- method file in which the problem occurs (will be saved in the working project)
- any *.dmp files (may not be present)

All of these files can be found in the Clarity installation directory (C:/Clarity by default) and will be amongst the last saved files after the station is closed - note that when you are using YLClarity or other OEM version, some of the files or directories may be named different.

As a first wild guess, what sample tray do you use? Sometimes (namely for the 84+3 tray) the Reagent vials can only be mapped to certain positions (85-87), else the method sending will fail.

as discussed in the e-mail, the files sent were corrupted and we still wait for the usable ones. Does the problem persist, or did it cease to exist?
