Dear users of Clarity Conference,

the DataApex company has released Clarity software version 2.8. This update to any older version of Clarity is free of charge for all users with hardware key.

This new version presents many improvements to the functionality of the Clarity station. Amongst the greatest improvements are:

• NGA Extension
  A tool for gas calorific values calculations.
• New Launch manager
  A new utility for easy starting of Clarity with different configurations and user preferences, including pre-defined profiles.
• OQ Validation Wizard
  A new wizard guides the user through the Operational Qualification (OQ) process of the Clarity software, which can now validate digital detectors.
• New Control modules:
  • Hitachi LaChrom Elite HPLC system has been released
  • HT800L autosampler has been released
  • LabAlliance COC 605 thermostat has been released
  • Chromophor 2010 pump driver is available for testing
    Several other Control modules have been updated.

A new version of Clarity 2.8.2 has been released. This update to any older version of Clarity is free of charge for all users with hardware key. It can be downloaded from Downloads - Full versions section of the DataApex website.

Main features of this update are:

• 64-bit Windows compatibility for INT9 driver was added
• drivers for YoungLin instruments were updated
• some minor bugs were removed

• some minor bugs concerning particular control modules were removed

A new version of Clarity 2.8.4 has been released. This update to any older version of Clarity is free of charge for all users with hardware key. It can be downloaded from Downloads - Full versions section of the DataApex website.

The release is (compared to 2.8.3) a service patch caused by a bug found in SDK that might influence control modules developed by external companies.
