Hello there,
has anyone in the Clarity World out there experience with connecting bar code reader to clarity and if yes and if this connection works to fill in eg. fields in the sequence table, what kind of bar code reader do you use, which driver, etc.? Anything will help.
Thanks a lot.
Michael

Spark Marathon: adding samples during run
Hello, I have installed a Clarity 2.6.6.574 version on a customer site some time ago. He works with a Marathon autosampler that is driven by Clarity. Every time he wants to add samples to a running series, he leaves the serial mode with F0 during this series and rotates the sample plate "manually" w...

Re: reporting calibration file & standard for each chromatogram
That's exactly what I do: having 1 report for the whole series, with "Calibration parameters" and "Calibration History" as well as "Instrument Parameters" and "Calculation Parameters" and certainly a "Result Table" for "All" signals. Certainly only one calibration file is used for the whole sequence...

Re: reporting calibration file & standard for each chromatogram
Thanks for your reply. The problem is the following: My customers want to have all the result tables one after another of the chromatograms in the sequence on one report (by results: print: result table: all signals). Certainly when in the Report Setup I chose "Method" and "Calculation Parameters" t...

Re: Batch reprocessing: with different calibration files
Hello again, thank you for your answer, but wouldn't it be possible to have something like "Reprocess by calibration file" in addition to "Complete Reprocessing" and "Reprocess by instrument method" certainly understanding that the actually in the instrument opened method is used (except for the the...

Batch reprocessing: with different calibration files
Hey guys, thank you very much for your fast and serious help with every problem. Could you please advice me about the following. Imagine that you have one instrument online, a second instrument for offline analysis and you have started a vitamin C analysis on instrument 1 still running. Because my c...

portrait/landscape format of individual reports
Hello, in the "report setup" in "page setup" menu I miss the choice between portrait format and landscape format for the individual report, because I would like to have my chromatogram result report in portrait format on one page but the sequence report and calibration report in landscape format. Th...

Working with separate calibration file for each series
Hello because of GLP-issues my customer (in clinical diagnostics) wants to work with a separate calibration file for each series. This is important especially when they measure external quality control samples. The problem we faced is the following: When we have established a new calibration file (e...

Open Chromato from Sequence: Calib or Data?
Hello again, I very much like to work with the "open chromatogram from sequence" option to open only the chromatograms from the sequence I want. But this is no more possible when I copy a chromatogram of this series from the CALIB to the DATA subdirectory e.g. when I, by accident and wrongly, have d...

automatic filename & sample ID composition variables
Hello again,
for the sampleID and sample column in the sequence table my customer would very much like to have a variable for "Day of week beginning on Monday". Do you think you could integrate this in the next update?
Thank you very much for your help
