Re: Line thickness in Chromatogram Printouts
Hi Jiri Thank you for your response. I am sorry but I only just noticed it! You describe the way to make the line thicker in both windows, which I am doing successfully. My problem is that when I print the chromatograms the line in the printout is not 2 or 3mm but reverts to the thin line. T...

Re: Changes to Device Monitor
Hi Daniel I agree with everything you say except about watching the pressure. Any HPLC analyst who ignores the pressure will not know when something goes wrong. (A leak, a blockage, incorrect eluent, incorrect temperature, incorrect flow rate, air in the pump etc. are all diagnosed through the back ...

Re: Changes to Device Monitor
Thank you for the reply Daniel. And I understand that the device monitor window is different for each control module, so maybe these ideas could be suggested to potential customer manufacturers who wish to write their own driver. In particular I understand that it is therefore more than difficult to...

Re: Display Peak Time windows in the Chromatogram Window
If it were possible, I would like to be able to apply the time windows (maybe displayed like error bars sideways) to the chromatogram window, so that if retention times change, it becomes obvious if the peaks are falling out of their prescribed time windows. But the major issue is to show if time wi...

Changes to Device Monitor
Four suggestions: 1. It would be really nice to be able to make the device monitor Always on Top 2. It would be nice to be able to change its size or shape, to fit with other windows which are open and not cover the chromatogram when the screen resolution is low. 3. It would be nice if it could be i...

Line thickness in Chromatogram Printouts
I find it very useful to be able to make the chromatogram and axis lines thicker, especially when using Clarity for demostration, or when working some distance from the PC. But sometimes I try to print out the chromatograms, and although I have the 'as on screen' option ticked (I know this relates m...

Display time intervals (peak time windows) in chromatograms?
It would be useful to be able to see the peak time window shown over the chromatogram. This would be useful: i) to show If the windows selected are appropriate (or even sensible!) ii) to show if the retention times have changed relative to the times in the calbraion table (eg either the chromatograp...

Re: Calibration bracketing
Bracketed calibration is so important for long runs. I thought there would be hundred names on the list voting for this by now!

Re: Peak Identification Option in Time Windows
Identifying peaks by "Closes to Retention time" only works if you have narrow windos and rock solid retention times. If the lab temperature changes (and hence the eluent temperature changes, so do retention times, from one day to the next. If a user makes up frsh eluent every day, there will be some...

Re: Stop current run without stopping sequence
I accept that as a work around, but I still find it really strange to have to stop the sequence first. Almost every time I do this, I just want to abort a run and move on, or stop a run because it has less peaks and get on with the next one. In both cases I don't want to stop the sequence, and hence...
